Christopher Elie was born without an anus
and needs reconstructive surgery. When Christopher was born he
needed emergency surgery to attach a colostomy bag to his
stomach. To pay for his emergency surgery, his mother sold the only thing of value she
possessed, her home.
She and were homeless for a while, and Christopher needed still more
surgery.
We were able to raise enough money to pay for
his reconstructive surgery as well as to help his mother buy her
home back. During our June visit to Haiti, we presented
her with a check.
