I wish to live in the US like you.

What would you change about your life if you could?
The economic life. The way I live in my house with my family.

Daniel was the winner for the most exhausting trek to his house. It was part way up the mountain. When we arrived there was a crowd of people on his porch. I figured they were gathered to see the American girl come over and interview Daniel. It turn out that they were all family and most of them lived in that little house.
Daniel has three brothers and two sisters. They are blessed by having the same parents. He lives with his grandmother, mother, father, and all his siblings.
Daniel wasn't too enthusiastic about any of the questions I had to ask him. He was realistic about Haiti's situation. He wishes his family and country were better off economically. Actually, he just wants to move to the United States and try to leave his problems behind. Daniel doesn't have too much hope that he will reach America as he wants to be a teacher in Croix des Bouquets.
For now, Daniel keeps his faith in the grace of God.
